Using Serif to Digi Scrapbook.

Hi Guys

Happy Friday to y'all, I hope that you are all looking forward to the weekend.  I have been packing up my house and craftroom as we will be moving very soon, yes I  know again, but this time I hope it is for a little while!!!!

I have been playing with my Polkadoodles CDs and Serif as i have a few pics I would love to put into a digi scrapbook to send to my folks in an email.  so here is what I came up with

This is a great idea if you live far away from your mum or family, if you forget their birthday or something then it is pretty instant and it can keep you out of trouble!!!

Wire Heart & Flower Ebellishments

Good Afternoon all my fellow crafters

I have been surfing the net and looking at various things and came upon some lovely embellishments that Prima used to do but they are now discontinued, they are perfect for dressing up an altered box, or any project.  They are wire hearts with a variety of pearl and bead spays on.  Here are what I have been working on.

I hope you like them , I am going to try using ribbon and other mediums with them to see how they work so watch this space. I do have a you tube video if you would like a closer look

Practising My Colouring

Happy Happy Monday to you all

I have been trying to get to grips with colouring with alcohol markers and have been watching tutorials on you tube.  I have been having a play with some of the things I have learnt.  and I think the main rule is to work in small areas and treat that as an individual item and then the whole picture will come together.  Like hair if you try to do the whole head it doesn't reallywork but take the hair strand by strand and it makes all the difference.  But here are  few of my practice pieces.

Sugar And Spice DT Project

Yum yum sounds great, but i have made a cupcake that had NO, yes, NO calories!!!!
I have used embellishments and papers from the Pick N Mix Collection 1 CD ROM

 This is a sewing style box which you can store needles, tread and embellishments.  I have used a doily on the top and then printed off some of the embellishments from the CD.

 I have lined the box with the backing paper and made a scalloped fabric flower for the bottom.

 Here I have made a cupcake pin cushion to go along with the sewing box. I used my cameo silhouette to cut out the cupcake stand. I have fussy cut some of the background paper and then printed off a polka-dot background and punched flowers with a tonic flower punch and then placed a flat back pearl in the centre. I then placed the flowers around the cup cake.

 The rose on the top was made with the template from the Love and Cherish CD ROM.  I the put a glitter glue round the edges of the flower to create a little sparkle.

Vintage Altered Box

Good Morning 

Well before I go to my WI coffee morning ,and Bring & Buy Sale I thought I would show you what I have been up to last night.  I love altering boxes as I am so pleased with this box.  I am going to make a nice little mini to go inside.  I will post pictures of this when I get it all done. Here are a few pictures.

Fabric Flowers

Playing with Tags

I went to my sons parents evening on Thursday and I visited my local wool shop.  I wanted to get some crochet cotton, but I got some lovely soya wool which was £1 per roll so I got a couple as I loved the colour. Happy Valentines Day Dollie Daydream DT Project

Ooooooooooooo I feel so loved up!!!

I hope that all your partners bought you some choccies and maybe a diamond! If not here is my gift to you. My design Team makes for this week.

 This card was made with the Dollie Daydream Goes East I designed the layout on my Serif  Craft Artist program and I left the Dollie Daydream image as a digi stamp and coloured her in with my Alcoholic markers. I also used the digi flowers and coloured those in to add a little interest into the corners. I embellished the image with ribbon and Chinese beads.

 I made this tag with the papers from Dollie Daydream Goes East and I created this stitch look flower with a heart punch to create the flowers. And the ticket sentiment.

Make a Little Birdhouse in Your Soul!!

Good day to you all.

I just wanted to share my make.  I made this cute little birdhouse.  I love it it is actually a gift box.  so stinking cute ( even if I do say so myself!!)  The papers I used were from pick n mix collection one . Hope you like have a great day and Keeeeeeeeeeep Crafting xx

Paper Bag Mini ( in Progress!)

I have been working on a little project, it is still a working progress.  I have made the pages out of paper bags, I have yet to make some more pages and I think I am going to change the binding to some chain as i wish to expand it a little. Here's a few pictures
