Dollie Daydream Goes East xx

Happy Friday Everyone

I must say that I love, love, love this new collection. Dollie Daydeam Goes East has beautiful Papers and a great range of images. My card is A5 and has a coloured image of Dollie and one of the backing papers all backed onto black card The fan is made with one of the monochrome

papers.  I loved playing with the colour in this collection, we all need a little colour after this grey winter! Enjoy and Happy Chinese New Year! This year is the year of the Horse.

I have been playing again!!

Making Fabric Flowers.  I am sticking to my new years resolution and not buying in new embellishments.  I have to make things out of what I already have so have a look at what I have created.

Good Morning Fellow Crafters

Hope you are all well and getting ready for a weekend of crafting.  Well before you do pop on over and have a look at Polkadoodles at their new CD.  I have been having a play with it and here are a few of the samples I have made.  I love it very girly.

This is a great CD ROM. and a must have for any girly girl out there.  A great alternative to make teenage cards ( which can be tricky!!)

Floral Sprays and Handmade Doilies

Happy Monday 

I am sitting her all wrapped up as the temp seems to have dropped a little bit!  Albeit not as cold as America is at the mo. We send all our warmest thoughts and prayers to you.

I have been making again.  I am really loving making my own paper flowers at the moment but I am trying to incorporate many skills I have learned during my crafting life.

So this is what I came up with

I have used a number of things in these.  I have made the doilies, and the flowers, the sprays and the pearl flowers.

Using My Handmade Flourish

Happy Sunday Peeps

Hope you all had a good weekend and that you all managed to get a little bit of crafting in!!  I had a little time to do some and I thought that I have been making a lit of cards that are suitable for girls, so I thought I would make a boys card using my handmade flourish.

I used  a palete of green and a digi stamp from the Pretty Tuff CD from Polkadoodles. There are also my handmade flowers and die cuts using my Silhouette Cameo. Hope you like it xx

Cherry Blossom Tutorial, inspired by Luvleescrappin.

Handmade Bling Swirls. Step By Step.

Hey Hey

I have been watching Youtube for a few ideas to further my crafting.  I have found a few money saving tips also so I would like to share them.  

The First is bling swirls you need a glue gun,Heat Proof Mat, heat gun and flat back bling gems or pearls or dew drops.

• on a heat proof mat dispense the hot glue in a swirl pattern
• when the desired pattern is achieved then get your bling, heat up the now cooled glue in parts and stick on your gems.
• They will stick to the reheated glue, then let that cool down 
• when cool carefully peel off the gen swirl.  
• when you need to use it then place the swirl on your project them put the heat gun over it to reactivate the glue and then your swirl should be glued to that surface.

Good Crafty Wednesday to ya'll

After having a sort out in my crafty den i decided to make a few more cards. As one does and also the weather isn't that great so perfect times!!!

I am so loving the Emma Canning Digi stamps, I love the fact that they do not have a  very detailed face so then they can be used for just anyone young or old.

I have made an easel card and a card with hand crocheted flowers on.

How are we today? well the 1st week of the new year been and gone and how many of us have stuck to our resolutions?!!

I have just about.!!!!

I have been making today as hubby has been working away so i had a bit of time to myself.  I have been working the Cherryblossom Lane CD ROM. From Polkadoodles and here is a card I have made today.I have a few more but you will have to wait as the glue is still drying on them!!!!

The artwork is amazing and I think it is so so cute. There is artwork for all occasions.

Fidget Snowfly

She brings peace between enemies. She lives in rotting woodlands near poisonous toadstools. She can only be seen at midday under a quiet, cloudless sky. She wears red with white spots, like toadstools and has shining pale blue wings like a cicada.

Trying to use up what crafty stash I have....!

Well my new years resolution is to use what crafty stash I have in my crafty den before I buy any more.......I know we all say that and then find that nifty place under the stairs where no one knows about except you!!!!

 

So here are a few makes I may be putting them on eBay and the see if I can start filling up my crafty money box!

Altered Bisto Box

Good Afternoon fellow crafters

 

Having had our fill of roast dinners and all the festivities, all my decs are down and the house is back to normal, hubby back to work just got a few days and then my son is off to school . So I can then have a nice relaxing time in my crafty den.

 

Here is something I have managed to make over the Christmas period. An old Bisto box with a Tilda stamp, hand made paper flowers and a hand made fabric flower on the top of the lid.
