Findings Friday

Good day to you all, I hope that you are all well and that the weather is not getting you down at all. If so then just make some jewellery and your troubles will disappear .

here is what I have been up to this week. I have made this lovely necklace with vintage lace and doilies.

I think it is very vintage and looks great.  I have just had a new shipment of wire in so over the weekend I will be making.  Have fun and Keeeeeeeeep Crafting Katie xx

Wire Work Projects.

Good morning to you.

I have been playing with some of my wire and have come up with these two ideas. I just love playing with wire and seeing what I can come up with.

I went on a vintage style journey with these wire work Pendants.  I am awaiting a new shipment of wire so I can get more creative. Watch this space. Have fun and Keeeeeeeeep Crafting xx

Findings Friday!

Happy Friday to you all

Well I have been wrapping with my wire again. This time I have made a fab Necklace for my Dad.  He loves Tigers Eyeso when I saw this tigers eye on Jewellery Maker I just had to wrap it for him and pit it onto a leather cord.  I think it turned out great.  

This gem is so magical Tigers eye is a chatoyant gemstone that is a metamorphic rock.It is a member of the Quartz family and unmistakeably natural.

Altered Christmas Projects

Good Day to you all,

There is no ignoring it any more Christmas is just round the corner. So I have been making some Christmas Decorations.

One is a bauble I have altered to look a little shabby chic.

Then I have altered a domino and I am really pleased with this and how it turned out.

Recycle it Challenge at Polkadoodles

We had to take something old and make it pretty and new. I used a old peg that had a pen attached to it but I now no longer use here is what it looked like

I used the Pretty Tuff CD ROM to make this memo holder for a boys desk to keep up to date with all his homework.

Christmas Fun Challenge

Not long now till the big day.  So I thought That I would make a "count down to!"

I used some coasters that I no longer used.  I have created a wall hanging with the Pretty Tuff CD ROM .

You write the number of days till Christmas in chalk on the blank area.

Autumn Colours

Hello to you all

i hope you are all getting on ok with this change of weather? I must admit that I love Autumn and while out on a walk with my Hubby and dog I was so inspired by all the colours around and just had to have a play with my markers and this wonderful digi stamp from Polkadoodles and I used Octavia Bird in Hand Stamp

Anything but Square Polkadoodles Challenge

Good Day 

Hope that you are having a good week. Our challenge over at Polkadoodles We have to make a card that isn't square. I have used and old Jigsaw piece for my creation this week. I used Pretty Tuff CD ROM to create my spooky make this week.

Lace & pearls Challenge on Charisma Cardz

Hello there

This weeks challenge is Lace and Pearls over at Charisma Cardz.

Here is my little bit of inspiration, I love the way it turned out. An altered Puzzle piece and loads of pretty things! A handmade flower, die cut flowers and a piece of net curtain lace then the pearl trim for the hanger. The Image is from Sassy Studio

Show & Tell

Well Hello To all the Crafty Peeps

I thought I would show you a few makes I have been working on over the last few weeks. I now have a new job so I have been using my free time to be creative and this is what I have been up to. 

I got this box free at a vintage store so decided to make it into a memory box for all the things we have done over the summer.I have used various die cuts and stamps including a Hand coloured Tilda stamp of Tilda Stamping!!

My Mums birthday is in October and she loves all things Halloween so this is her birthday card. Using Tim Holtz Dies and a Polkadoodles Digi Stamp.

I have 12"x 12" magnetic frames so I thought I would make this layout to hang in my Bedroom. 

This box I got in a Thrift store for 50p and I have used various stamping techniques and stencilling to bring it back to life!

This is an old Sweetener box I decorated with die cuts and stamps to house my glue sticks. There is a video on this on my YouTube Channel pop on over and check it out.
